Coop was very happy with the way he played last Saturday against Powell. They had an A and B team and our poor kids had to play both of them back to back. He played QB and defensive tackle. Here he is getting ready to pass! He loves football!

We lost to the A team but they have been shutting out everyone and we had them 14 to 12 at halftime so that was pretty good. We ended up losing 34 - 14 but they kids came back and beat the B team. It was fun to watch. Then we headed to Riverfront to watch Bales run. Scott and Shirley, Tami and Jared, and Nellie and her friend came to watch which was really nice of them. She has been improving every meet. It was a nice day for running. I didn't get my camera out for that - dumb me! She had a meet Tuesday in Huntley and it was cold and windy. Needless to say everyone's times weren't all that good. Here she is at the start. She is in the back of the picture!

Here she is almost done. I think she looks glad to be close to home!

This is towards the beginning of the race! She just got done running into the wind but had another long stretch of it after this. She hasn't come in last yet - Yea Bales! We love you and Coop and are proud of both of you and the examples you are!
